Starting today, Thursday, November 20, 2014 and extending to Tuesday, November 25, 2014, CarCareCONNECT will be performing routine server maintenance. You’ve probably received our notification emails about the upcoming maintenance, but in case you missed it, here’s an overview about what will happen and what it means for you.

Why do we need to perform maintenance on our servers?

Just like you perform regular maintenance on your customers’ vehicles, servers are complex pieces of machinery that need to be maintained in order to run smoothly and stay in top condition.

Performing server maintenance makes sure your web services:

• Less probability of website downtime
• More secure and less vulnerable to cyber attacks
• Up to date with the latest web protocols

What happens to your website when we perform server maintenance?

During routine server maintenance, you won’t be able to access your website from the back end and make changes to content. However, it won’t change how your website appears on the web. So existing and potential customers will still be able to find your website through search engines and other sources.

What happens to any website edits I submit?

If you need to make a website edit, you can still submit it by phone or email to the CarCareCONNECT Customer Success Team, and it will be completed starting on Tuesday.
