Kurt Busch Suspended Indefinitely

Is race car driver Kurt Busch’s ex-girlfriend really an assassin? While testifying in court about a protective order against him, the former NASCAR Sprint Cup champion said that his ex, Patricia Driscoll, “is a trained assassin dispatched on covert missions around the world” and that she went on secret missions across Africa and Central and South America. Busch even went as far as to describe a specific event in El Paso, Texas, where Driscoll apparently went out for the night wearing camouflage and boots and then returned later in the night wearing an evening gown splattered with blood.

These allegations came in response to a protective order requested by Driscoll after an incident of domestic abuse last fall, where Busch allegedly grabbed her and slammed her head into the wall of his motor coach at the Dover International Speedway.

This situation led to four days of testimony, the like of which has never been heard before in family court. “Everybody on the outside can tell me I’m crazy, but I lived on the inside and saw it firsthand,” Busch said.

After this testimony, the notorious Busch became known in NASCAR circles as “The Outlaw.” Nearly a month later, on February 16, “The Outlaw” was ordered to stay away from his ex and to not have any communication with her for an entire year. Busch was also banned from having firearms or ammunition and has to evaluated for “mental health problems related to anger control and impulse control.” Busch has since been suspended from racing indefinitely and it is unclear when his return to NASCAR will occur.
